3 Reason I might like a heckler. I'm going to be honest and tell you I really don't like hecklers at all. They are generally rude and inconsiderate of the feelings of others. A heckler can be a leech feeding off of every moment you create. They can suck the metaphorical blood out of you in front of hundreds or thousands, leaving you dead and bloated.  Over the years I've created a frame of thinking that allows me to see the brighter side of things. After being heckled I sometimes wondered if the heckler is right and why would they say or do that? How can I be more prepared next time? So I tried to figure out three good reasons to like having a heckler. Here is what I've come up with. 1. They keep me on my toes.  The heckler allows me to exercise my quick and sometimes puny wit. Two Magicians Create The Same Trick. Blind Cubed from Kardenni on Vimeo . The question, "Where I learn my tricks" comes up frequently. Like any trade out in the world, magic is taught. Only a few move on to becoming professional magicians who create magical moments on a daily basis. Some of the things I do are hand me downs or variations of existing tricks that I have worked out for myself. Others come right from my own mind and those are my favorite. Here's a interesting story behind how I created one of my current favorites and how I found out that someone els had the same idea. I'm observing and reporting my perspective.** All the pain, sweat, tears and years of work can't stop me from doing something when it's worth it. That is what the project has been to me. Over the last three years, it's been the joy of my life and a pain in my ass. Illusion of Choice is a concept show for a live magic performance. A fun engaging experience meant to provoke the viewers subconscious and consider the weight a simple choice like buying vegetables or a gallon of ice cream. Why are you making this choice and are you really making it? All this blended into an interactive magic experience. It's a magic play, I call a magical ( Instead of a musical ).
