A Short Film on Magic.

Something that I love just as much as the art of magic is the art of film making. So when director Chris Cruz approached me with an idea about magic I was more than trilled. So we met up for multiple lunches over the course of three months and planned it out. There were so many amazing ideas that come from those meetings, but ultimately the stuff we kept had to do with using time and resources effectively. I'm extremely pleased with what Chris has done here. It was a real honor to work with him and I love his attention to detail. I hope you enjoy this short story about magic as much as I do.


You know that feeling you get when reality shatters
The ideas and principles you've lived by all appear to be way off
Your heart sinks, you lightly sweat and you've lost your breath
And all in one moment you realize "how is that possible?"
"That's impossible, yet it actually just happened."

A choice must be made, who and why
Then it's only a mater of time
When the moment arrises direction is given
and trickery is flawlessly executed. 
Imagination takes over and reality recedes momentarily 
The magic hits, paralyzing the entire body.

To bring you back reality settles in
and begins giving rational and irrational solutions.
A smile and a wink of assurance is given to ensure that 
the fabric of time and space is in fact still intact.

3 Reason I might like a heckler. I'm going to be honest and tell you I really don't like hecklers at all. They are generally rude and inconsiderate of the feelings of others. Only a few move on to becoming professional magicians who create magical moments on a daily basis. Some of the things I do are hand me downs or variations of existing tricks that I have worked out for myself. Others come right from my own mind and those are my favorite.
